A New Revolution in the Web World

A New Revolution in the Web World

The present web net is full of documents, information, and diverse resources which can be easily accessed via words through traditional research tools without trying to recognize the content of these documents. Therefore, when searching for one phrase, the research tool used gets an extreme number of documents which are not closely correlated by search words. This is why Berners Lee presented the so--called Semantic Web in order to evade this fault and to add more intelligence to the web. Semantic Web is the extension of the current web but it differs in that it automatically grasps the significance of human expressions and meanings.
Semantic Web (sometimes called Web 3.0) is similar to a large database and its data are the document inferences. Thus, computers are capable of recognizing the content of documents. However, the organization of these documents and sources in their current form make their access very difficult. This is why it had became a must to use a technology that matches with Semantic Web such as ontology languages which mean to represent the concepts through connecting them with meaningful relations so that it becomes easy to connect items to one another. These languages have standards available to every one and can be referred to as a standard concerning data representation. Hence, using them in Semantic Web applications will make the data more exchangeable and accessible without the need to transfer it to a form understood by the other party.

Burners Lee who is the father of the web has presented the third web generation. He believes that the present net is now open to extension within the upcoming few years and just after twenty years, the world will be considering the present net as a fetus of the then future net that will definitely witness a great revolution.
We shall witness a completely new Internet that would enable the internet users to better handle and analyse data than the currently available online.Once again, it is a new revolution ine the web world as the documents and sources will be able to be handled by computers instead of humans in the present web , consequently , the Semantic Web allows to search and share information instead of humans.

In order to add verbal semantic to the present web, there are three challenges to be realized: first, a clear formula to represent metadata, and second, vocabulary to describe metadata, and metadata for each web page. The web semantic uses are multiple and apparent in different fields such as tourism, trade, medication, education, languages and others.
As for tourism, there are many ideas and applications of Semantic Web.. For example, it can be used to make tourist gate that includes information about tourist destinations and which are taken from previously prepared data base thereabout. These data are coordinated by the web semantic techniques in order to make a common ontology to all the beneficiaries from metadata. The web semantic techniques are used also to find solutions for some dilemmas arising in some poorly attractive tourist destinations through smart investigations about the available data base, and allows for a better understanding of these destinations problems , accelerating their development, and registering the visitors’ experience . The system mainly relies upon the web semantic techniques in defining and symbolizing these impressions so as to have a quick access thereto, and to make some inferences from them. Semantic Web applications include the new search called Froogle tool that was launched by Google.
