Sharm el-Sheikh/Hurghada Maritime Transport line Inaugurated
 
Minister of transportation Kamel Al-Waziri inaugurated a maritime transport line connecting Sharm El-Sheikh to Hurghada.

The ‘Queen Nefertiti‘ ferry took off for its first voyage every in the new transport line, and on board was the president and leaderships of the Arab Bridge Maritime Company and the head and leaderships of the Red Sea Ports Authority.

The cruise from Sharm El-Sheikh to Hurghada now take two and a half hour only, and according to Waziri, this line will also be a bridge to more touristic areas in Sharm el-Sheikh, St. Catherine, Taba, Hurghada and Luxor.

Not only will be the ferry responsible of transporting tourists and travelers but will also carry workers, goods and cars, which is the result of a cooperation between the Arab Bridge Maritime Company, the Red Sea Ports Authority, and all the ports in Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada, in an attempt to ensure the efficiency of the line’s services and sustainability.

The ferry will be making regular trips weekly in order to make the visit of tourists from Sharm el-Sheikh to Hurghada much easier.
