A Royal Oscars Viewing Night at the Cairo Marriott Hotel
 
The Cairo Marriott Hotel is always a place honoring art, cinema and music. Verdi’s masterpiece Opera Aida was played live for the first time in the heart of El Gezira Palace and the palace has also witnessed a lot of celebrities and well known figures visiting the country. In order to keep this ritual, Cairo Marriott hosted celebrities for a one-night stay at the Palace for an exclusive Private Viewing of Oscars 2020; the 92nd Academy. During the show they have shared their expectations for the award winners and created critics towards the movies and celebrities nominated to win.


The Oscars viewing night starred Asma Sherif Moneer, Mahmoud Hegazy, Sherif Noureldin, Ashraf Hamdi, Hend Abdelhalim, Youssef Othman, Asmaa Galal, Mariam El Khosht, Omar El Shenawy, Yara El Gendy and Huda El Mufti at Cairo Marriott’s royal suite; Empress Eugenie suite. A delectable dinner from different restaurants of the hotel was another highlight. When the time was set to start watching the Oscars competition vibes reached its peak and everyone was sitting anticipating and waiting for the winners to be announced. For more fun, popcorn buckets were exclusively prepared and branded for this special occasion.

Everyone was enjoying his time, capturing the moment and celebrating this once a year ceremony. Celebrities’ shared their favorite moments of this unforgettable evening with friend and family on social media using the hashtag #OscarsAtCairoMarriott to keep it as an everlasting memory.


At the Royal Suite where Richard Gere and Yanni stayed, Cairo Marriott decided to show the Oscars and make it a very special night to be remembered by celebrities and those who value cinema, music and art.
