The very beginnings of construction in Egypt had been associated with the ancient Egyptian civilization. This new type of tourism allows on-Egyptians to own and utilize housing units in some of the new urban areas and touristic areas located in the areas of Araba Gulf, the Red Sea, Al Ain Al-Sokhna, Ras Sidr, Northern Coast and Arish.
Furthermore, it has been planned to establish 51 tourist centers with all the main facilities and touristic infrastructure.
Thanks to the Egyptian Touristic attractions, the number of tourists visiting Egypt reached more than (9.7) millions in 2007, (96) million tourist nights, revenues estimated at (7.6) billion dollars in the same year, and more than (2.5) million job opportunities direct and indirect. Now, tourism is considered the primary source of foreign currency in Egypt. So, always welcome to Egypt regardless of the purpose of your visit whether it is for tourism or investment.
