The very beginnings of construction in Egypt had been associated with the ancient Egyptian civilization. Egypt is a promising real estate market as the Egyptian government has recently succeeded in taking many procedures that have contributed to the improvement and the general atmosphere of real estate investment. That matter contributed to the polarization of hundred of world and Arab companies working in the field and which helped in turn pump large amounts of money that made it possible to achieve a qualitative leap in housing sector. So, the real estate investment became the most of successful investment in Egypt.
Over more than twenty years and so far, tourism sector has witnessed a developmental boom exemplified in the new tourist communities that have been established in several remote areas investments in tourism field and the government has already started to form development and production centers so as to implement a program to prom Egyptian tourism. That program which extends from (2006 to 2011) aims also at pumping new investments estimated at nearly (8) billion pounds.
Moreover, private touristic sector has been urged to invest tin the promising new touristic areas through of touristic services all over Egypt.
The development includes the tourism of Rresidence- vacation houses tourism- developed by Egypt. This new type of tourism allows on-Egyptians to own and utilize housing units in some of the new urban areas and touristic areas located in the areas of Araba Gulf, the Red Sea, Al Ain Al-Sokhna, Ras Sidr, Northern Coast and Arish.
Furthermore, it has been planned to establish 51 tourist centers with all the main facilities and touristic infrastructure.
Thanks to the Egyptian Touristic attractions, the number of tourists visiting Egypt reached more than (9.7) millions in 2007, (96) million tourist nights, revenues estimated at (7.6) billion dollars in the same year, and more than (2.5) million job opportunities direct and indirect. Now, tourism is considered the primary source of foreign currency in Egypt. So, always welcome to Egypt regardless of the purpose of your visit whether it is for tourism or investment.
