Yoga Reduces Overweight

Yoga Reduces Overweight

Researchers have proved that yoga exercises made by women helps more in reducing Overweight more than what other strict diets can do. According to the study which has been prepared for nearly two years, there appeared that yoga exercise punctuated by relaxation and mediation periods, would reduce women's tension and minimize their appetite for high calories, fatty, and sweet foods.
Daily Mail newspaper said that a medical team from New Zealand University of Ottaga, has divided 225 obese women into three groups; the first group was required to exercise Yoga, mediation and relaxation. The second was asked to make a strict diet, and some exercises. The third group received instructions about loosing weight by mail.
Researchers have discovered that the weights of the three groups did not rise at that time, but the first group that practiced Yoga, mediation and relaxation lost about 2.5 kg.
Dr. Caroline Howarth who has prepared the study said that the health and psychological state of the first group improved at that time referring to the importance of relaxation techniques in changing life style.
Howarth thought that it is better for those willing to loose weight to evade the long strict diets and search for other alternatives useful for both body and soul such as Yoga, mediation, and relaxation.
