Taekwondo Promotes Friendly Relations Between Egypt and South Korea
 
Under the slogan of 'Taekwondo for All', Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cairo, in cooperation with the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation organized the 3rd Global Taekwondo Course in Fayoum City, from 17 September to 20 September 2012 at the Taekwondow Training Hall.

Under the supervision of Koreans instructors, some 120 trainees from all age groups have participated in this course, which aims to encourage the Egyptian youth to practice Taekwondo. At the end of the course, participants have been awarded in the presence of Dr. Park Jae Yang, Cultural and Information Counselor who expressed his admiration for the advanced level of the participants.

Dr. Park said that his course which organizes on an annual basis comes within the framework of the Embassy's efforts to spread out Taekwondo Sport in Egypt.

"A similar course has been organized in Ismailia from 24 to 27 September and also in Aswan during the period from 1 to 4 October, and in Port Said from 6 to 10 October" he added.

He expressed his hope that these efforts will promote friendly relations and cooperation between Egypt and South Korea.
