H.E. Hisham Zaazou Minister of Tourism has appointed Mr. Ambassador Nasser Hamdy as the chairman of The Egyptian Tourist Authority starting November 2012.
Prior to that nomination, Mr. Ambassador Nasser Hamdy was the Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Inspection Department.
His past positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs took him across the Globe especially as Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt to Singapore from 2008 till 2012 , as well as working in the Egyptian Embassies in Lusaka , Jakarta , Lisbon & Jeddah .
Ambassador Nasser Hamdy was born in Egypt in 1959. He holds a Bachelor of commerce from Cairo University in 1983 . He is fluent in French, English & Arabic.
