EGYPTAIR (MS), the Flag Carrier of Egypt and member of Star Alliance and UKRAINE INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES (PS), the flag carrier and the largest airline of Ukraine, announced the launch of their new code-share partnership.
Together, the two airlines offer their mutual customers seamless connections between Cairo and Kiev. The flights will be available as of today on both airlines’ booking systems allowing access to major cities on both airlines' networks.
Subject to this agreement, EGYPTAIR will place its code on UKRAINE INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES flights between Kiev Boryspil (KBP) & Cairo (CAI) and between Kiev Boryspil (KBP) & Istanbul (IST), while UKRAINE INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES will place its code on EGYPTAIR flights between Cairo (CAI) and Istanbul (IST).

So, we gladly announce the new co-operation with UKRAINE INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES. Together, we will offer our customers seamless connections between Cairo International Airport (CAI), a main hub to Africa, Middle East and Far East, and Kiev Boryspil International Airport (KBP).” Said Captain Ahmed Adel, EGYPTAIR HOLDING Chairman & CEO. Capt. Ahmed added “This cooperation agreement opens a new horizon for EGYPTAIR network reaching more than 20 destinations in Europe.
“After a 15 year hiatus, Cairo was chosen to be our first scheduled flight destination in Africa”, stated Yuri Miroshnikov, UKRAINE INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES President & CEO, “and we are delighted to be working with EGYPTAIR as our partner, not only for promoting Cairo as the ‘Gateway to Egypt’ but also developing traffic over EGYPTAIR’S Cairo hub to their network in Africa & the Middle East/Gulf. We also look forward to increasing frequency to a daily operation thanks to our new Codeshare Cooperation.”
