The Minister of Tourism held a meeting to follow up on the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis on the tourism
 
Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities held a meeting yesterday at the ministry's headquarters in Zamalek to follow up on the updates of the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis on the tourism sector in Egypt.

The meeting was attended by the Vice Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs, assistants and advisors of the minister, the Head of the Civil Aviation Authority, the Head of the Airports Holding Company, the assistant of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for European affairs, representatives of concerned authorities, the President of the Egyptian Tourism Federation, the presidents of both Egyptian Travel Agents Association, and Hotel Association, and some members of the Tourist Chambers.

During the meeting they discussed the current situation of the tourists residing in Egypt from different nationalities whose flight conditions' updates have prevented them from returning to their countries.

And it was emphasized on all hotels to provide all means of comfort for those tourists and to prolong their stay in the Egyptian hotels until they safely return to their countries in coordination with tour operators abroad, while the ministry continues its follow up and its coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the concerned authorities in the country.
